Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the bread baking classes ("Classes") hosted by Bread For Better ("Organization"), a nonprofit organization registered in the state of Texas. By participating in the Classes, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before enrolling in or attending any Class. This document is legally binding and affects your legal rights. By signing our terms and conditions you are releasing Bread For Better from all liability and forever giving up any claims therefore.

Media Release Waiver: 

I consent to and allow any reproduction of any and all photographs or video recordings taken of myself or member of my household during our participation in the Cooking Class. I agree to Bread For Better and their sponsoring companies or kitchens the right to use or reproduce such photographs and video recordings in any media, including social media or online. 

Eligibility:

1.1. You must be at least 18 years old to participate in the Classes. Minors under the age of 18 may participate only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

1.2. By enrolling a minor in the Classes, you represent and warrant that you are the parent or legal guardian of the minor and that you consent to their participation in the Classes.

Registration and Enrollment:

2.1. To enroll in a Class, you must complete the registration process through  www.breadforbetter.org or by any other means specified by the Organization.

2.2. The Organization reserves the right to accept or reject any registration in its sole discretion.

2.3. Once your registration is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email with Class details, including the date, time, location, and any additional requirements or instructions.

Fees and Payment:

3.1. The Classes may require payment of a fee. The fee amount will be specified during the registration process.

3.2. All fees are non-refundable, except as otherwise stated in the cancellation policy and in these Terms or as required by applicable law.

3.3. You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date payment information. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your enrollment.

Class Conduct:

4.1. You are expected to conduct yourself in a respectful and appropriate manner during the Classes.

4.2. You must comply with all instructions, guidelines, and safety protocols provided by the Organization or its representatives.

4.3. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in your removal from the Class, without refund.

Intellectual Property:

5.1. All materials, recipes, techniques, and other intellectual property used or provided during the Classes are the exclusive property of the Organization or its licensors.

5.2. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any materials provided during the Classes without prior written permission from the Organization.

Limitation of Liability:

6.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organization and its representatives or volunteers (“Releasees”) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your participation in the Classes. The Organization will not be liable for any personal injury, property damage, disability, death, sickness or disease incurred by myself, my family members, dependents, or guests, including minors, however occurring including, but not limited to the negligence of the Organization’s representitives. 

6.2.  The Organization makes no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information or materials provided during the Classes.

Indemnification:

7.1. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Releasees from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your participation in the Classes or events or any breach of these Terms.

7.2. You agree to waive and covenant not to sue the Releasees from any cause of action, claims, suits, liabilities or demands of any nature whatsoever including, but not limited to, claims of negligence which you and any legal successors and proxies may have, now or in the future, against the Releasees on account of personal injury, property damage, disability, or death, sickness, diseases or accident of any kind, arising out of or in any way related to the use of facilities or participation in programs, wether that participation is supervised or unsupervised, however the damage occurs, including but not limited to the negligence of Releasees.

Governing Law and Venue:

8.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

8.2. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Classes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas.

Severability:

9.1. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Modifications:

10.1. The Organization reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective upon posting the revised Terms on the Organization's website or by other appropriate means.

10.2. Your continued participation in the Classes after the posting of any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Termination:

11.1 We reserve the right to not provide the Website or services to any person. We also reserve the right to terminate any user’s right to access the Website or services at any time, at our discretion. If you violate any of these Terms and Conditions, your permission to use the Website and services automatically terminates. By participating in the Classes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to any provision of these Terms, you should not enroll in or attend any Class.
