This privacy policy discloses how we collect and use the information of all visitors to our website, along with donors, volunteers, and any other person affiliated with our organization. This policy applies to all personal information you provide to Bread For Better, both online and offline, as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications. Information We Collect

Sign-Up Forms. Bread For Better collects contact information including name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, payment information, involvement preferences on various sign-up or other forms throughout our website, and any other information you voluntarily provide through our forms or communications. This voluntarily provided information helps you get involved and remain updated about Bread For Better, for fundraising purposes, and to contact you in response to inquiries. At any time, you can opt out of receiving future communications from Bread For Better by contacting our staff or adjusting your email preferences. Bread For Better does not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.

Donation Information. Financial information is collected during the online donation process. When placing a donation online, you will be redirected to an external vendor that receives your payment information and processes the donation. The vendor (i.e. PayPal, Venmo) stores financial information you provide to it according to its privacy policies. Donor financial information collected in person or over the phone is also stored by an external vendor. For more information, please inquire and review the vendor’s privacy policy. Personal donor contact information collected by Bread For Better during the online donation process, in person, or over the phone is stored within our online database. Access to our database is restricted to personnel with a legitimate business need to access or modify the information contained therein.

Google. Bread For Better uses Google services, such as Google Analytics, that place first-party and/or third-party cookies on a browser across our website. To opt out of Google tracking, please visit Google’s opt-out page. We may also use Google AdWords “remarketing” to market our site across the web. We place a cookie on a browser, and then Google reads these cookies and may serve an ad on a third party site. You may opt out of this ad serving on Google’s opt out page.

Social Media Sites. When you interact with any Bread For Better property page or account on a social media platform, such as Facebook, Instagram, or Tik Tok, we may collect the personal information that you make available on that page or account, including your account ID or “handle.” However, we comply with the privacy policies of the corresponding social media platform and only collect and store such personal information that we are permitted to collect by these social media platforms.

Cookies. Like most websites, Bread For Better’s web servers utilize “cookies” to track a user’s activity within our site, as well as record the IP address of each visitor to this site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our website, but used to track more aggregate data like total number of visitors to our site.
